Renewable Energy Grants & Schemes

customers qualify for renewable energy grants

Our goal is to help our customers get their energy efficiency improvements funded whenever possible. Our team of professionals will guide you through the whole process, from the initial paperwork to the installation (we even provide you with the relevant warranties on parts and labour).

In cases where you qualify for funding via any renewable energy grants, we work directly with the Energy Savings Trust through the Department of Work & Pensions to identify benefit and credit types. If necessary, we can also help you apply for Local Authority Flexibility.

ECO4 - Energy Company Obligation (Phase 4)

Through the ECO4 scheme, you can improve the energy efficiency of your home without facing high upfront expenses. By working with accredited installers, you can access funding available from big energy companies. A fourth phase of the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme is known as ECO4.

The energy efficiency measures available through ECO are designed to make homes more energy-efficient, to tackle fuel poverty, and to make energy more affordable for consumers. Measures include fabric, service, and renewable installation options.

It requires energy suppliers to install energy-saving measures in people’s homes as part of the Energy Company Obligation. Gas and electricity networks are regulated by the Office of Gas and Electricity Markets (Ofgem). As well as controlling prices and enforcing them, it assists the industries in making improvements to the environment.

The scheme gives energy companies the freedom to decide which measures they want to install, how much funding they provide, and which installers they hire.

HUG - Home Upgrade Fund

If you meet the eligibility requirements, HUG funding is available to you whether you own your home or privately rent it. A landlord’s permission is required if you live in a private rented property. Local authorities can use HUG to upgrade the energy efficiency of properties off the gas network to support low-income households.

This funding of £150m is intended to improve the energy efficiency of these properties through multiple measures. A key component of the Government’s plans to reduce carbon emissions in the UK and achieve net zero emissions by 2050 is the HUG scheme.
